Following the success of the Microdex reels, we extended this range to cover 4 miniature reels, all of which were approximately 1¼" in diameter.

The MICROPLATE
Plate Wind reels were first made around 1850. This miniature version is a representation of the Hercules style reel and is made from a combination of brass and aluminium.

The MICROPIN
This depicts a style of reel known as a combination fly and spinning reel incorporating two handles. This miniature version is manufactured from high specification aluminium.

The MICRODEX
This is basically a representation of a standard fly reel incorporating rim control, take off spool and fixed click pawl ratchet. This miniature version is manufactured from high specification aluminium.

The MICROFLY
Similar to the Microdex, but with the absence of rim control. This model is manufactured from high specification aluminium.
